Mirror edge sharpening

There is a growing trend towards getting a mirror edge sharpen on pocket knifes or what is sometimes called an EDC or everyday carry knife.

Normally this mirror edge is done by a series of wet stone with an ever increasing grit until you get a mirror finish.

I could do this but I really don’t have the patience for it as I have machinery todo the hard-work for me

The flat hone AKA the Russian machine is mostly used for putting razor sharp edge on convex scissors as well as giving them a mirror finish.

So lets try that.

East meets West

Take the small knife hone from the Tormek made in Sweden and put it into the arm of the russian made flat hone.
