Arco 5in1 cutter refurbishment
The arco 5 in 1 blade is very popular as a trimmer
They where designed to be disposable but there has been various ways of refurbishing them. The cutter is far smaller than a conventional A5 blade and the success in sharpening it is variable to say the least.
As such I far prefer to replace the cutter which can be sourced with some difficulty.
Moser Arco
Wahl 5-in-1
Wahl Bravura
Wahl Adelar
The blade is stripped down, cleaned up and the cutter replaced with a new one and then tested as normally the comb doesn’t need any work.
A common failure with these is when you have dropped the trimmer and you break one of the lugs off the chassis
This can be replaced for an extra £5 if you have dropped it
